Eighty-one acres of grass burned in a vegetation fire Tuesday afternoon in unincorporated Solano County, Cal Fire officials said.

The fire broke out at 2:39 p.m. around Allendale and Timm roads just west of Interstate Highway 505.

The fire was contained quickly and no one was injured, according to Cal Fire. No structures were damaged or destroyed, Cal Fire spokesman Bruce Lang said.

No evacuations were necessary. Firefighters don't know the cause.
