Childish Gambino's set at Outside Lands was received with high praise, and the numbers don't lie.

At the time of the headliner's performance on Saturday, Donald Glover came to the stage and announced his alter-ego drew record-breaking audiences to the festival, as reported by The Chronicle.

"I just found out that this is the biggest crowd they've ever had at Outside Lands!" exclaimed Glover to the cheering crowd.

Reports claimed more than 90,000 concertgoers came to Glover's Saturday night alone.

A publicist at Grandstand, the festival's media agency, verified the large turnout, at least in terms of ticket sales.

"We can confirm Saturday was the biggest single day sales in the history of the festival," wrote Grace Jones in an email.

Jones declined to provide the exact amount of tickets sold or the daily number of concertgoers in attendance, but she did estimate the number of attendees over the course of the three-day festival.

"The attendance this weekend topped 210,000," she said.

In its 12th year, the annual musical festival at Golden Gate Park still proved strong in its ability to bring out the masses.

With Glover as the festival's main stage attraction, fans from all over flocked to San Francisco in droves, and the singer-actor-comedian shattered records, made history, and delivered good music, of course.
